Turbo Run – Privacy Policy

Last updated — August 5, 2026

Turbo Run ("the app") is a mobile game developed by an independent developer. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

Information we collect

Nickname. You choose a nickname to display on the leaderboard. This is freely chosen text, not verified, and not linked to your real identity unless you choose to use your real name.

Score and country. When you finish a run, your nickname, score, and a two-letter country code — read from your phone's mobile network information, not your GPS location — are sent to our leaderboard database so you can compare your score with other players. This leaderboard is public: anyone using the app can see all submitted nicknames, scores, and country codes.

Advertising data. The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob automatically collects your device's Advertising ID and other technical data — such as general device information and approximate location derived from your IP address — to select and measure ads. We do not control what AdMob collects; see Google's own Privacy Policy for details.

How we use this information

To show the public leaderboard and let you compare scores with other players, and to show ads that help support the app's development — including the option to watch a rewarded ad in exchange for an extra life.

Third-party services

  • Google AdMob – Ads
  • Supabase – Leaderboard database hosting

Data retention and deletion

Leaderboard entries are kept indefinitely so historical scores remain comparable. If you'd like a specific leaderboard entry removed, contact us at dinutvikler@gmail.com with the nickname and approximate date/score, and we'll remove it.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to the leaderboard, contact us at dinutvikler@gmail.com and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can play the game without an internet connection — ads and leaderboard submission simply won't work while offline. There is currently no way to opt out of leaderboard submission for a specific run other than playing offline.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we handle, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same URL.
